STRENGTHEN OUR NETWORK

• Providing one on one mentoring to students by leaders who can inspire their journey into the professional world as well as relate to them in a personal way
• Hosting speaker-ship series featuring fellow alumni, to present job prospects, what one can expect to be compensated in today’s industries, and which tools are needed to reach their potential
• Implementing a co-op/internship program in partnership with local businesses, showing students first hand what their day-to-day would look like in a given industry

• Analyzing the labour market, the institute audit reports, the budget, principal reports and determine where our resources and efforts can make the most impact
• Recruiting industry professionals to provide training in their respective fields, highlighting the skills required
• Equipping our teaching professionals with continuing education opportunities, so that the curriculum is current and relevant in preparing our students for tomorrow

• Hosting Fundraising events, to raise capital for project funding, and any tools and equipment that are needed
• Partnering with other educational institutions, professionals, local businesses, and policy makers who share in our vision
• Attending events sponsored by The Guyana Consulate to be informed about the challenges and opportunities in Guyana
